  New Article regarding the Global Flood of Noah

  i have put together a new article regarding whether the global flood of noah is possible.

  it utilises a lot of information from threads on jwn, and some of you may recognise your own comments.

  My advice would be to try and write it like an academic article in that i mean any reasonings or conclusion deduced should be referenced to evidence supporting your claim. This way the article reads as though it is supported by evidence and not merely your opinions. Im not saying that in the article these are your opinions, but rather in text referencing shows that at certain points these statements are supported by evidence. It makes it harder for readers to critisize the article..then if they have a question on a certain claim, they can go to the reference and review that.

  hi guys,.

  i was just looking through www.reddit.com/r/exjw and there is a thread that was posted about four hours ago with the title "so our circuit overseer just got disfellowshipped" and there some basic details in their op.

  the location is given as central coast, australia, which is north of sydney.. there aren't many more details other than "it has sent shockwaves throguh the congregations" and a query on the protocol in situations like this.

  Hi Winston,

  Can you type the link in? even if you cant post it? Im not really technical so im not up on all this

  I have put up a mention of this in a private ex jw group on facebook in Australia, perhaps someone in that group may know someone and be able to confirm this.

  My only other thought is jwfacts, he is here in Sydney and im not sure if he has any connections with anyone on the central coast or in bethel still ( i doubt bethel as it is a small place compared to NY). But I will talk to him and find out. He may even see this thread before i talk to him

  Visit to Austrailia

  we're trying to rebuild our lives after leaving the org, have new experiences and create new memories for ourselves.

  we're planning out our trip to hawaii, nz, austrailia and tahati in february.

  i thought i'd see if anyone on here could give us some advice on places to see/stay/eat in brisbane and thereabouts, as well as places to steer clear of.

  Well Im in Sydney and I would be happy to meet up with you if you got here. We could go out for a meal one evening.. A Day time catch up would take time out of sight seeing...

  There are things to see in Sydney.

  There is the harbour bridge, the opera house, the zoo, then there is the blue mountains (the 3 sisters etc), then there is some other amusement parks such the aquaium, the powerhouse museum, the art gallery, centrepoint tower (which you go up to the observation deck to see around sydney as far as the blue mountains)

  then you could take an hr and 15 min drive south to Jamberoo - a water recreation park which is fun for all ages

  you could go south for a few days and stay at one of the caravan parks on one of the beaches. The south coast is absolutely beautiful.

  Im sure you could get a day bus trip (3 hrs one way) from sydney to the capital ACT canberra and do some sight seeing tours such as visit parliament, and the other sites there.

  first up, happy new year .

  hi everyone, ok i guess this is controversial, but im doing it as therapy for me - so im not bitter about the way i was raised.

  plus i want to see if i can be the op of an "epic thread"!!.

  born in

  the only happy memory was of my mother, not the religion. My mother was very loving.

  however no happy memories, almost no memories at all
